Surface Preparation Expansion joints shall be provided through the tile work from all construction or expansion joints in the substrate. Do not cover expansion joints with leveling bed mortar, tile or stone. All surfaces should be between 40* F(4" C) and 90° F(32°C) and structurally sound, clean and free of all dirt, oil, grease, loose peeling paint, laitance, concrete sealers or curing compounds. Dry, dusty concrete slabs or masonry should be dampened and excess water swept off Installation may be made on a damp surface. New concrete slabs shall be damp cured and 28 days old before application. Shake the container well before using slurry set. Place clean, potable water into a clean pail. Add Slury set, and mix thoroughly. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes before mixing this slurry set to cement. SLURRY SET: Mix 300ml of Superset with 20 Litres of water. Add this Slurry set to Cement and mix by hand or with a slow speed mixer to a smooth, workable consistency. Adjust water for consistency if necessary to a maximum of 30 Liters for 300ml of Slurry set. Remix and apply with tools over the leveling bed
